Fill the bowl of the aroma lamp with warm water and add a few drops of essential oil, or create a blend of essential oils. The classic aroma lamp works by using an open flame, typically a paraffin candle encased in a metal holder. The design of the aroma lamp with a candle consists of two parts: the base, where the candle is placed, and the top part, directly above the candle, which is shaped like a small bowl for water and oil. The flame from the candle causes the water, with the added essential oils, to evaporate. This gentle heating releases the oil molecules, allowing the fragrance to spread throughout the room.
