Franck Olivier Pure Addiction Eau de Parfum

I ordered it out of curiosity. I cautiously tested it for the first time. The scent seemed very unusual to me, but the longevity was astonishing. On the second day, completely different, more seductive and slightly sweet notes emerged, but there was a hint of iodine. By the third day, I realized that I was addicted 🙃 I perceive it as a distant orange and a close strawberry in caramel that's been heated, generously dusted with powder. By the way, the powder lingers throughout the day. I'm not sure if these emotions will last forever, but I'm really enjoying it right now.

I ordered from the EU, the water is concentrated. It stays on clothes for weeks and also holds well on the body. I am satisfied with the purchase.

So, we conducted an experiment and sent 1 ml of this fragrance along with Bacara to find the difference. Most girls actually thought Frank Oliver was the original)))) I am familiar with the original Bacara from afar, but the similarity is there, although that's not the point. The fragrance itself is nice, and I am surprised by its longevity. It's already evening, and I can still feel it well, even on my skin (which is strange for me because even niche fragrances usually fade away after a couple of hours). My husband liked it, and even more, he said "Wow!!!". For some reason, he doesn't like the sweeter perfumes on me, like Dance of Dragonflies, but here he says it's the best on me so far. He was shocked by Nishan Ani, Vertus Narcosis, and Ideal Bouquet from Xerjof.🤣 I am pleasantly impressed with the price. It's perfect for everyday wear.

I really liked them! Personally, they are very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, and I don't detect any iodine notes in either Baccarat or these perfumes, only burnt sugar. I hardly feel the scent on myself, which is very convenient because overpowering fragrances often bother me, but with this perfume, I constantly receive compliments for its lasting trail.

I only have Mugler and a couple of other fragrances that last longer than two hours on me, but this one is so long-lasting that it becomes irritating. I am familiar with the sillage of Baccarat, but it's not my style at all. Pure Addiction is really similar, so I don't recommend it without testing it. I definitely liked the presentation and the price.

I must say, I don't understand those who claim to hear "baccarat rouge 540" in this fragrance. It is completely artificial, lacks depth, and comes across as cheap. I bought it without testing it, relying solely on reviews. Unfortunately, I wasted my money and threw it straight into the trash bin.

This perfume is extremely long-lasting.

Overall, I don't feel them on myself, but several times people have asked me what it is on me. I conclude that they are trail-like, although unfortunately, I don't hear it myself.

It is similar to Bacardi, but very, very quiet. There is no lingering aftertaste. The lasting power is about four hours.

Over the past six months, I have enthusiastically tried out and purchased a variety of fragrances (I suspect it is my way of dealing with stress). Pure Addiction, however, has been my most successful purchase. As soon as I started using it, I completely abandoned all others.

In my workplace, its scent was immediately noticed with just one spray. Two people asked what smelled so pleasant (they detected notes of spicy herbs and smoke). Two others expressed their dislike (they picked up on notes of a litter box and unpleasant medicines - poor girls!).

The fragrance itself is vibrant and dynamic, constantly changing and playing with you. There are hints of sweet candies (they often pop up) and iodine notes (I rarely sense them, but they are very natural and intense at that moment). However, most frequently, it is a mix of various spicy herbs dissolved in sweet air. It's as if you are lying in a field of wildflowers on a summer day, and the breeze brings you new and different scents. There is a herb garden near my city, and although I have never been there, in my imagination, it smells just like that.

And it's true, it's pure addiction.

Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would buy Bacarra. I already have Bacara, so I bought this perfume. This one is better. It's more delicate, without any sharp notes. I'm not an expert or a perfumer, but the scent is absolutely identical to me. The only difference is that it doesn't have that first iodine chord that everyone complains about. And then there's the bottle. It's luxurious. The wooden cap and thread wrapping look elegant and stylish.

I didn't expect anything and then such a surprise happened. My bottle is super long-lasting, someone apparently gets something wrong. The longevity is astonishing and, most importantly, the resemblance to Bacarrat Rouge is decent. The sweetness is there, not just a similar "direction". I previously bought (based on bloggers' reviews) V Canto Stramonio for 5k UAH and the longevity and resemblance are much less, it's not quite it. But here, for such money, such a treasure. A find for Bacarrat lovers.

An absolute clone of Bacarra without a hint of iodine. But oh, how quiet it is! It sits close, there is no trail at all. And yet it is long-lasting - I could still feel it on my skin even after a shower. Such a paradox. I don't regret my purchase - the price is affordable, the resemblance is complete - both my hamster and my frog are satisfied. Thank you, Makeup.

At first, I smell orange and damp wood... Then the sweet notes of bakkar and its amber sound appear. And in the end, there remains a sweet and soft amber.

Regarding longevity: I have this fragrance and so does my friend. So, neither she nor I feel it on ourselves (we feel it for the first half an hour somewhere), but we can smell it on each other all day long.

So, if you don't feel it, it doesn't mean that others don't notice it.

The scent is truly reminiscent of Bacardi - sweet and very delicious! However, unfortunately, it is not long-lasting. But anyway, considering the cost of the perfume, I don't regret this purchase.

This is actually very good! Bakara, Bakara, it's easy to confuse, bravo to whoever came up with it, a true obsession for perfume enthusiasts. I bought it here and the longevity is decent.

At first, it smells like burnt sugar, then like burnt plastic, harshly and unappetizingly. There is a slight resemblance to Bakara at the beginning, but then it disappears, and it tastes unpleasant. I really don't like it at all.

Volume 0. Although, for example, Sunrise is superb, a blend between Encré and Dermé. Beautiful vetiver, long-lasting. But this is nothing. Thank you for the makeup.
