The L'Imperatrice Limited Edition Eau de Toilette by Dolce & Gabbana is a flanker of the original L'Imperatrice 3, released in 2009. This new version omits the notes of kiwi and rhubarb, replacing jasmine in the floral heart with a highly feminine duo of rose and peony, as suggested by the pink-hued elixir in the bottle. The flower petals add a hint of powderiness and romance, yet it remains the same familiar fresh composition. The combination of watermelon and cyclamen creates a very pure ozonic accord, and along with strawberry, it evokes the sensation of a delicious, juicy watermelon-berry sorbet.
